Wagner Rienzi opera to libretto by the composer. Directed 2010 by Philipp Stölzl at the Deutsche Oper Berlin with co-director Mara Kurotschka. Stars Torsten Kerl, Camilla Nylund, Ante Jerkunica, Kate Aldrich, Krzysztof Szumanski, Lenus Carlson, Clemens Bieber, Stephen Bronk, and Gernot Frischling. Sebastian Lang-Lessing conducts the Deutsche Oper Berlin with chorus master William Spaulding. Stage design by Ulrike Siegrist and Philipp Stölzl; costume design by Kathi Maurer and Ursula Kudrna; video by Momme Hinrichs and Torge Møller; video direction by Johannes Grebert; directed for TV by Henning Brümmer. Released 2010, disc has 5.1 dts-HD Master Audio  sound. Grade: B+
