David Lawrence, writing for Gramophone (December 2013 at page 101) warns "the immense [outdoor] playing area doesn't translate comfortably to the small screen." As you can see from the package artwork, several huge horned 'dragon dogs' dominate the stage. Since this is performed over water, the Three Boys arrive not in a balloon, but on the back of a swimming turtle--well, if you know anything about the Bregenz Festival, none of this will surprise you.
